santaNewtown’s Santa Parade is a family tradition and continues to provide a magical experience for the whole community. The parade will start at 2PM on December 6th from The Stocking Works on South State Street and travel north then turn left onto Washington Avenue then continue west one block to Sycamore Street and right turn. The Parade will then continue north on Sycamore Street and end at the corner of Sycamore and Durham Rd.

 

This year the parade will be bigger and better than ever before.

Some of the parade highlights include: 18 of the Famous Philadelphian Mummers in the Uptown String Band.  CRHS North and South Bands. Parade floats & fire trucks. Horse drawn carriages.  A live pageant of animals.  Santa and much, much more.

 

Remember to come early and bring all your family and friends, blankets and chairs! The entire parade route sidewalks are available for spectators to pick a spot and watch this magnificent parade.

 

Before and after the parade, many Newtown Business will be having special promotions, don’t leave town before grabbing a bite to eat or stocked up for the holidays!
