Yardley, Bucks County, Early Spring

I can remember many times, where we still have snow on the ground, towards the end of March.

That is definitely not the case this year, in Yardley, here in beautiful Bucks County. After an incredibly warm winter,

we have experienced a very early spring. Here are a few early spring photo’s from the area I love so much,

Yardley, Pa in winter…its cold!

If you are reading this post from pretty much anywhere in the northeast of the US, you know that it has already been a long, cold winter.  Here in Yardley, in Bucks County, it was headed all the way up to 19 degrees today.  (high temperature)

Although the older I get, the less I like winter, I must say that it is very pretty in the snow.  Here are some recent photos that show you what it looks like.

Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County, has its own farmers market!

If you are new to the area, and even if you are not, you may not be aware that Lower Makefield Township , now has it’s own farmers market.  The market is open every Thursday, from 3:30-7:00, starting in June.  It will remain open until September.DSC_0006

My wife and I were there last week, and there were a number of local farmers, and vendors, offering all kinds of fresh fruits, vegetables and other assorted goodies.

It is a wonderful addition to the Township, and is a great place so sample local, fresh foods, of all sorts.  The market is located off of Edgewood Road , in what is called, the Edgewood Village Park, in Lower Makefield Township.
